In June 14, 2017, the co-ordination committee of the Belgian-funded project of “Integrated water resource management and urban planning related to climate change in Binh Thuan province” (IWMC) organised a workshop to kick off the implementation package for the technical study on coastal erosion, estuary deposition and salt intrusion at the Luy estuary area in Binh Thuan province in relation to climate change.

On June 2, 2017 in Phan Rang-Thap Cham city of Binh Thuan province, the provincial People’s Committee teamed up with the Vietnam Institute of Water Resources Research to organise a workshop on reporting study results of a hydraulic-hydrological model for the Dinh river basin and the water drainage model in the city of Phan Rang-Thap Cham, in relation to climate change.

Symposium on water resources management study in Luy River basin- Binh Thuan Province

(binhthuan.gov.vn) On April 6, 2016, Binh Thuan People’s Committee, in tandem with Belgian Development Agency (BTC), jointly hosted a symposium to jumpstart the study and analysis of climatic data at present and in the future targeting water resources management at Luy River basin in the province. The event is in the framework of the project on “Integrated Water Resources Management and Urban Development in Relation To Climate Change in Binh Thuan Province”.
